USER RESEARCH & REQUIREMENTS GATHERINGRegular interdisciplinary meetings with team members from each department (subject matter experts from client side, who represented the user base, one front-end developer, one back-end developer, one designer) to document the requirements in JIRA.
We have also organised a user field research, when I went to join one of our subject matter experts to see how she is doing her daily work, asked questions and took notes.

WIREFRAMES
Designers created wireframes with Balsamiq based on the requirements. Analysts reviewed these wireframes and provided feedback. Iterations until the analysts felt that the wireframes meet the requirements.

UI DESIGNThe design team created UI mockups based on the wireframes and simultanously started to put together a component library to keep consistency and help to speed up the front-end development.

USABILITY TESTING
While being part of the design team, helping document the requirements, working on wireframes, UI mockups, clicakble prototypes and the UI library, I took the initiative to prepare a usability testing session with end-users through a clickable Invision prototype.
